Apparently now I can send MMS messages on my iPhone. Now all I need to do is figure out why I would ever do that instead of using email.
Dangit iTunes, I said DO NOT AUTODELETE.
Glad to see I’m not the only one having trouble with iTunes Connect. I knew that twitter search box would be useful one day.
RT: @hotdogsladies Just for reference: every time you type “RT,” I yell “BOK!” then read the rest in a super-annoying squeaky parrot voice.
Just got a vaguely menacing email from Apple telling me it was my last chance to buy their “Protection Plan.”
Just finished The Colour of Magic. And you say there are more than 30 of these Discworld novels? *Excellent.*
This woman is the mayor of Wellford, a town a couple of miles west of where I live. Glad I don’t live there. http://icanhaz.com/crazymayor
Chan alerted me to this diabolical plot in IRC: http://images.salon.com/comics/boll/2009/09/17/boll/story.jpg
Just got back from my little brother’s party. I made six pizzas from scratch. Next time, I want a second oven.
The Torians—the galaxy’s most prolific breeders-just surrendered to me. The new taxpayers reversed my deficit. Now making buckets of money.
Hey, you know that problem I mentioned yesterday? Found a trivially easy fix for it today! Sleep is awesome.
I give up. You win today, source code, but tomorrow I’m gonna come and kick your ass.
Woohoo! New version of FoodPad is complete and submitted to the App Store. Now, to wait for them to OK it and send it out to the world.
Made peace with the Torians; must stop the vastly more powerful Thalan Empire from ascending to godhood. #galciv2
Also, the United Planets can die in a fire. Limiting evil civilizations to just one trade route… grumblegrumble. #galciv2
Geez. I either need a job or for Apple to actually start *paying* me for my iPhone app. Or both.
Russia declares Programmer Day, the 256th day of the year. Cool! http://icanhaz.com/programmerday
Don’t forget: This saturday is Pretend to Be a Time Traveler Day. http://icanhaz.com/timetravel
Sorry about Joe Wilson you guys. SC sucks at picking politicians. And at educating kids. And at running businesses. We have a few problems.
This is neat: Highlight a congressman’s name, click the button, and get info on them (like who gave them money). http://icanhaz.com/ktc
“Christ, we’ve become a nation of magpies.” http://icanhaz.com/magpies -MeFi user on Joe “Liar” Wilson’s derailing the health care debate.
On the other hand, my town is setting up a 20,000 square foot art co-op in an old church, which is cool. http://icanhaz.com/artcoop
Ooh, cool! Threadless T-Shirts are all $9 today!
Watching “Love’s Abiding Joy” with family. Possibly the worst movie I’ve ever seen.
My brother and sister-in-law adopted an adorable little puppy! http://yfrog.com/0270zj
Just got the I Don’t Know What I’m Doing album from @bradsucks. Man, his music is all awesome. His newer CD is amazing too.
Snow Leopard finally catches up to Windows on one key feature: There is now a “put back” button for things in the trash for easy undeleting.
iPhone Developers & Snow Leopard: Install BOTH XCode 3.2 from the DVD & the new iPhone SDK or you will get hundreds of strange errors.
Also, the old default font in XCode was Monaco if you want to switch it back. I find that Menlo just hurts my eyes.
*STILL* no “sort by date deleted” feature in Snow Leopard’s Trash though. Come on Apple, when are you gonna catch up?

NYTimes: “US profits from TARP.” Dig deeper: We profited from banks who could repay us. Still losing money given to AIG and other sinkholes.
Don’t get me wrong, any profit is nice, but it still isn’t time to call a parade the US economy.

Is that sound the UPS truck with my copy of Snow Leopard on it? *gets up, checks* No. It was the short school bus. :(
It took a couple stores, but I found some andouille sausage. The plan: next Saturday, I will try making jambalaya.
Aww… RIP Reading Rainbow. http://bit.ly/v8TEu
WARPATH: The always epic map.
Trying a new recipe for buttermilk sandwich bread, in the oven now. We’re about to see if this “New Best Recipe” book lives up to its name.
Verdict: Well, it’s the best sandwich bread *I’ve* ever made. Mixer w/ dough hooks > food processor.
Is DiGiorno’s flatbread different substantively from the recipe @boo_radley tweeted? http://bit.ly/14xtCk
I like the bread on the DiGiorno flatbread melts (http://bit.ly/MHlJ1) but don’t like the fillings. Any recipes for this kind of flatbread?
Oops. Lost my Elements password. Can’t find the “forgot my password” link. :-(
Dad was looking at a receipt and remembered that he had bought a new monitor for my birthday last week & left it in the attic. It’s pretty.
I spent a tragically large portion of my afternoon making a to-scale Battletech map of my neighborhood using satellite photos.
BattleTech appeals to all the nerd parts of my brain: big fictional universe, collectible toys, rule-based design and fighting giant robots.
I really don’t want to go to the dentist tomorrow. Just a cleaning, but it’s money out of my pocket. Self-employed=no free dental insurance.
Oh, hey! I can be logged into Twitter from more than one computer now! Awesome. Significantly less pushing of the login button for me!
Spider-Man 3: Young superhero struggles with Asperger’s Syndrome.
Today has been a pretty awesome birthday.
Apple: Add incremental updates to Xcode. I shouldn’t have to download approx. a gig of data just because you updated the iPhone OS to 3.0.1.
